It's happened guys. I actually got The Husband to sit down and answer all of your questions, and there wasn't a single huff and puff in the process. Color me shocked.
I'm telling you right now before you watch the video, I'm not in it. You'll hear me, but you won't see me. I had been spring cleaning all day, I was dirty, and my hair was piled into a messy top knot on top of my head (and not one of those perfectly styled messy top knots that bloggers love, it was more like a greasy ball of frizz stuck to the top of my head. It's not a good look). So yeah, I was steering clear of any cameras. And as for Fifty, well personally I thought he would have been keen to make his vlog debut, but during filming, he was sleeping, tuckered out from his weekend with his cousin, Napoleon.
Now to the main event... Ladies and Gentlemen... without further ado, I give you, The Husband...

Bravo Gregory!!! J'adore le "I need to eat tonight, you know"!!! Tu vas faire craquer tout le monde avec ton accent!
ReplyDeleteI miss you guys so much!! That was kind of torture, seeing/hearing you and not being able to talk to you! And lordy, Gwegorwy's accent is so cute.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, 3 years - I'll take it. Pack your bags, tout de suite.
"That's your friend Sophie." "I know." Hahahah the new "I love you." "I know."
ReplyDeleteGood response to my question! Aurelien feels the same way. He doesn't read every post either, especially when I poke fun at his family.
Thanks for answering my question. I love you guys!
What fun - you're a good sport, Gregory!
ReplyDeleteHAHAHAHA! That is the goddamn cutest thing I've seen in a looong time! Oh, my Gwegory, I wuv you.
ReplyDeleteI also enjoyed how many of his answers revolved around food and needing to be fed.
Miss your face xoxo
Also - heck YES you should move to Australia!! Toute de Suite!

How cute; Gregory aka the Husband is such a good sport. I was most impressed with his English. Did he just pick up bit by bit or did he make a concerted effort to learn? Do you speak English or French when it's just the two of you at home?
ReplyDeleteThis was awesome! I love your husbands accent! Thanks for the video! I had so much fun watching it! But where was my question? :) I love your voice by the way, Sara!
ReplyDeleteOMG Katrin!!! I'm so sorry, I just watched the video again because I was sure he had answered it, and I can't believe he didn't! That's my fault, I'm sorry. I had written them down and I guess I must have skipped over it by accident :(
DeleteWhen he gets home, I'll have him answer it here.
OK, I've asked Gregory...
DeleteHere's your question: "What is the weirdest thing about being married to an American? What is the worst thing and what's the best?"
And here's the answers: The weirdest thing is the cultural differences, for example, I don't like football (soccer), and some types of French food. Little things like that.
The worst thing (and he asked me first if he could be honest), is that he can't criticize the US (not that he does it a lot) without me jumping down his throat.
The best thing, is that I introduced him to American culture. He said that Europeans sometimes can have a wrong image of the US and I helped him to see that it is much more than they think it is.
Sorry it wasn't in the video!
Pulled pork huh? I was thinking maybe like Kool-Aid pickles or chili cheese Fritos but what a good sport. Adorable really...
ReplyDeleteSO FRICKIN AWESOME OF A SPORT. GO Gregory!! He rocks for appearing in the video. I should really ask my husband do the same! I want to know Michel's question above. What language do you guys speak in at home?
ReplyDeleteHigh five and an ass slap for Gwegowy! (you can give both...) What a fun post! : )
ReplyDeleteHe does have a cute accent! And I'm not usually one to "craquer" for a French accent either.
ReplyDeleteAww, bless! And they do say the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, you've obviously got it cracked ;o)
ReplyDeleteoh, that was adorable! Gregory is a charming guy. :) I love listening to his accent!
ReplyDeleteAww I loved this! Thanks to both of you for taking the time to let the readers see and hear you and get to know you better =)
ReplyDeleteWait... was the first question in French? I'm so confused.... And is the second question in French, too? ARE THEY ALL IN FRENCH?!?!?! I CAN'T SPEAK FRENCH!!!
ReplyDeleteWHERE ARE THE ENGLISH QUESTIONS?!?!!?
Oh, phew. I wasn't going crazy. I like his accent! And I like the reasons he loves you.
Bravo! "It's my story, not yours!"
Omg, this was so hilarious! What a great idea - and man, Gregory is a great sport. I vote if you ever come up to Paris, we should get C & G together & make them speak English while we drink rosé.
ReplyDeletehe's so adorable! And very patient :-)
ReplyDeleteOh wow, you both have the most beautiful accents, I sound like Billy Connelly!
ReplyDeleteHe's a good the Husband. :-)
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed watching this! I think I would need to be on my death bed to get my husband to talk on a vlog! haha
ReplyDeleteGotta love a French accent!! :)
ReplyDeleteWe want more! This is fun, you have to make it a regular blog post/podcast!
ReplyDeleteIvan
Oh my goodness... best accent ever! Watching this makes me realize that my German Gentleman does indeed sound a bit like a Bond Villain... French just sounds so much nicer. I seem to recall you writing a post once about having him read some of the more ridiculous parts of "50 Shades of Grey" out loud, and that neeeeeeeeeeeds to make its way to the internetz!
ReplyDeleteLove this Should do more videos like this.
ReplyDeleteBonnie Rose | A Compass Rose
I love this!!!! I don't have a badgers what he was saying at the start but I was off in my own little worlds listening to him speak French!
ReplyDeleteAnd I 'Awwww'd' lots when he answered the questions about you! x
Ah I love it! J'adore Gregory! Oh how I see you fell so fast for that French ;)
ReplyDeleteHe sounds like our wine maker. I don't care what he's talking about, just send me a case of it. So cute you guys! And congrats on YOUR French!
ReplyDeleteLarsons say bravo!
