+ Fifty has a new girlfriend. She comes around every morning to give him kisses. It's pretty cute. But whereas Vicky always came to the front door, this little one sneaks around to the back.
+ I made spaghetti and bacon meatballs for dinner the other night. Now don't get too excited, they aren't meatballs that are 100% bacon (although that does sound delicious) they are beef meatballs, with bacon ground up in them. Yeah, I'll make these again.
+ I'm a bit scared that my cookbooks are jealous of Pinterest because I've totally been neglecting them and giving all of my attention to my delish dish board. I can't help it, it's called 'delish' for a reason you know.
+ Spring has truly arrived as I've been to three BBQs in the last two weeks, was invited to another that we had to turn down, and have one on the books for Friday. Spring time is BBQ time.
+ My French dentist calls me the little cat because he says I sound like a cat when he's working on me. I'm not too sure how I feel about that.
+ I've got the moving bug again. I love The LPV but you know, it's really freaking small (hence the name Le Petit Village) and although it is probably the most beautiful place I will ever live in my life (and the weirdest), it's also the most inconvenient.
+ I have now finished reading The Hunger Games series as I turned the last page on Mocking Jay last night. I'm super excited because tomorrow I'm going to see the movie in Aix with Mrs. London, but am also totally bummed because I've finished the books. What should I read now? Suggestions please.
+ And speaking of books...
are any of you on Shelfari?
I would not be happy about being called Little Cat either. LOL But the pooch couple is ADORABLE. :)
ReplyDeleteFifty's new chick is a little hussy, sneaking around to the back door - so cute! Watch out for those french dentists... meow! hee hee What a weird thing to say, huh? xo
ReplyDeleteMmmm, bacon.
ReplyDeleteTry The Forest of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan (awesome zombies). Or just wait til we catch up again and I'll give you the first two in the series (third one just came out).
I think Fifty's girlfriend is moving a little too fast. French bitches are sneaky!
ReplyDeletem.
Aww, spring love for Fifty! That's so cute.
ReplyDeleteAlso, where would you move?! I'm completely willing to take care of your place in le petit village if you need a house-sitter.
Do you mean actual paper books wot you pay for or Kindle books that can be had for free?
ReplyDeleteI'm just finishing the trilogy of Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L.James in Kindle version....Wow, scenes are so hot you need a bucket of ice water to cool down.
ReplyDeleteSouki now has a little mate that comes each morning from where I know not but he gives her a good run and I have a post coming up on it soon...he is so sweet and so in love!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm on goodreads!!!!! xx
Dog couples are adorable! Go, Fifty! My favorite book last year was Deborah Harkness 'A Discovery of Witches' - it's a trilogy and the second book is coming out in July.
ReplyDeleteI saw the Hunger Games over the weekend and loved it. I didn't read the series and now I feel that I should get started! Right now I'm reading Lunch in Paris because I'm going there in June .. all my reads are French themed at the moment. Great idea to add bacon to flavor up your meatballs - YUM!!
ReplyDeleteRead "Hens Dancing" followed by "Summertime" by Raffaella Barker. Perfect for this time of year! What is Fifty's new GF's name. Perhaps, "Swifty" as she appears to move fast...
ReplyDeleteYou always watch out for those that sneak around the back. Better keep a close eye on those two! Moving bug? Where are you thinking of?
ReplyDeleteAww, that photo of Fifty and his girlfriend is pretty adorable - I love it!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to hear what you think of the movie!! :)
I'm finishing Mockingjay now, and dragged Alain to Aix last Saturday to see the movie! He thought it was better than Twilight (I must agree).
ReplyDeleteSend Fifty and his new lady love my best wishes!
ReplyDeleteI have started re-reading the Hunger Games because once was just not enough...
The Pooches haven't figured out how to open the door? Very sweet picture!
ReplyDeleteA Song of Ice and Fire book series by G.R.R. Martin. They are so good.
ReplyDeleteI was really disappointed by book two and book three of the Hunger Games. My friends even warned me that they weren't as good as book one, and I was still let down by them.
Fifty's little girlfriend is too sweet...or maybe, since she goes to the back door, she's a little naughty. : )
ReplyDeleteSo happy you popped by my blog.. LOVE yours.. you lucky thing.. France & a RUGBY player... I am just a tinsy bit jealous! - Look forward to reading more!
ReplyDelete:-)
little cat? that is quite strange indeed... even for a french dentist :)
ReplyDeleteNew book, new book....the Hedgewitch Queen by Lilith Saintcrow soon to be followed by The Bandit King....so good can't wait! Besos. - gi
ReplyDeleteMmmm, barbecue. One of my favorite spring rituals. What's the usual barbecue fare there? Is it safe to assume that it is different from Kansas City or Texas?
ReplyDeleteHow nice for Fifty that he's got a girlfriend. Animals are so cute when they are in love! I haven't read the Hunger Games, yet and am feeling really left out since I think everyone else has. I hope to get to it soon. If you left LPV where in the heck would you go??
ReplyDeleteAshley
How sweet for Fifty that he's got a new girly. Animals are so cute when they are in love! I haven't read the Hunger Games yet, and am feeling a bit left out since it seems that everyone else has. If you left LPV where the heck would you go??
