Sometimes Fifty's little feet get cold, and we have to put his socks on...
That's not true at all. I don't know if his little feet get cold or not (he's never told me). But this is what happens when The Husband and I get bored on a Sunday afternoon.
Five minutes to put on. Five seconds to come off.
bisou
ROFL Jon saw those pictures and said, 'That's a form of abuse.' My response, 'Perhaps, but, it is d**m funny' Bravo!!
ReplyDeleteOh and Fifty's such a poser. Takes a confident man to let it all hang out in that way. :-P
If you tell me Fifty has a studded leather jacket or maybe doggie snowboots? I could see that...
ReplyDelete5 minutes to get on is pretty good...Maya won't let us touch her paws at all, so it would take us more like 5 years!
ReplyDeleteFifty's pretty cute though, with or without the socks
If you ever do this to a cat, I swear you'll laugh 'til you cry. LOL Great pics, Sara :) He's so handsome!
ReplyDeletePoor Louie and Murphy are getting chaussette-ed next time we're bored....which will probably be in about an hour.
ReplyDeleteFifty looks like a good sport....he's such a cutie-pie.
I love it! Next time you should try one of your hubby's t-shirts. Those are harder for the puppies to take off! ;)
ReplyDeleteToo cute! I debated buying holiday socks for my cats during Christmas...I decided it was probably a bad idea.
ReplyDeleteI restarted the blog - I think you will like it. Give it a look see if you have time!!
Missed your posts...glad to be back and see you and your loved ones are doing so well!!!
Habebi - I think Fifty would agree with Jon :-)
ReplyDeleteValerie - Fifty totally needs snow boots! That would be awesome!
fojoy - yep, 5 minutes, he's very trusting... sucker!
Alyssia - thank you, I'll be sure to let him know you think so :-)
Adrienne - hee hee, be sure to take photos!
Biscuit - we have done the t-shirt thing and posted about it! I think sometime in last August or September. Fifty looks very handome in a t-shirt :-)
Brea - welcome back!
I tried that to cover stitches on the doggy... lasted a minute! I can't get the "booty call's" socks off that fast. Hmmm . What does that mean...
ReplyDeleteHahahaha! I love the 2nd pic :)
ReplyDeleteHihihihi sooooo cuteeeeee!!!!! You can also blame it on Fifty when you get stuck with lots of odd socks!
ReplyDeleteHaha this is funny! I've seen those sneaker booties for dogs- that might he harder for him to remove.
ReplyDeleteFifty looks so cool, and he looks loved. Lucky puppy!
ReplyDeleteOr or orrrr a thugged our puffy parka coat with his name embroidered on the back...just sayin...
ReplyDeleteI laughed and laughed when I saw him spread eagle gnawing at the air in disdain.
ReplyDeleteHahaha Sara, this is the most hilarious post. I'm cracking up. He looks so horrified to have socks on his feet.
ReplyDeleteI think that there is a big case of "cabin fever" in Le Petit Village, n'est-ce pas? Fifty is lucky that you did not dress him in hats and sweaters - hah!
ReplyDeleteIt will be warm soon... how long until spring?
Bisous,
G
LOL Too funny. Try rubberbands to hold them on next time.
ReplyDeleteAwww, You're making me miss my dog! (He's in the giant dog park in the sky.) I keep asking my Frog if we can get one, but he says over his dead body.
ReplyDeleteI guess I have to kill him.
I thought the Canadian and I were only people who messed with our dog when we are bored...that is awesome!!!!! Fifty looks like he is having so much fun!
ReplyDeleteAren't poochies entertaining? And don't they 'like' the stuff we dress them in? Awwww come on ...I once found our daughter putting a witches costume on our Golden. Now that was funny and I swear the dog was smiling!
ReplyDeleteI love that you put socks on your dog. It is both cute and creepy.

FACT: dogs hate socks. I have it on good authority (even though I've never owned a dog...) so maybe it's not on good authority.
ReplyDeleteBut it's pretty darn cute though!
my friend used to do it all the time to her dog, when its claws were too long it stops it sound like their tapping!

This is too funny! When Bodhi was a baby, his little feet got sensitive walking on the cold cobble stones here. (Don't say it!)
ReplyDeleteIn addition to some sort of solution that we got at the vet to protect his tender little paws, a neighbor showed up with a collection of washed and folded baby socks that had gotten separated from their young owners around town. And *you* guys just did it for entertainment! Hah! ;}

One fun thing to do with dogs is to show them a dog biscuit, put it in under a blanket on the floor, and see if they manage to remove the blanket to get at the biscuit. Of course, they might always just rip through the blanket.. Depends on the dog I guess. On second thought, you might not want to try it with fifty.
ReplyDeleteI so do not judge you..when it is time to wrap Xmas presents we always put tape of the cats feer...HILARIOUS
ReplyDeletepositively HILARIOUS. our kitties react the same way when we try to put on any sort of...anything.
ReplyDeleteloved that you documented it. that's my favorite part. ;) xoxo {av}
I have jerseys for our pups of our favorite football teams and my husband won't let me even try them out on our dogs. I thought that if I came into the whole cute, wee little dog clothes situation with football jerseys that the husband would be more interested, but, alas. He was not.
ReplyDeleteHa! When we get bored, we dress the dog in pants. That's just how we roll.
ReplyDeleteToo cute! My ding-dong pugs will not let us put anything on them. I tried to give them Halloween costumes but they tag teamed and tore them off. I am sure they were afraid of getting beat up in the neighborhood by the other dogs.
ReplyDeleteThat is too cute!!! It doesn't really look like Fifty is enjoying it though. :)
ReplyDeletethat is seriously funny!
ReplyDeleteI am so in love with Fifty.
ReplyDeleteso funny. he's so angry!
ReplyDeleteMaybe he just doesn't like the color.
ReplyDeletehaha! those pictures are too funny!
ReplyDeleteAmazing what we'll do to amuse ourselves, isn't it. Give him a big old spoonful of peanut butter next and you'll have entertainment for the rest of the night. I had to buy my Golden boots when I was home because it was just so damned cold! The way he walked when we put them on him made us laugh till we couldn't speak.
ReplyDeleteHahahahahah Fifty looks so cute and funny! Love it. I might have to put socks on my dogs' feet sometimes. You know, just for giggles.
ReplyDeleteFifty is the most adorable and patient dog ever :)
ReplyDeleteThe second photo is so cute. Is he ticklish?
he looks thrilled.
