I'm cranky, sick, and icky.
(And I look pretty icky too. Sick is not a good look on me)
The Husband has left for work and Fifty is being pretty worthless. I keep asking him to make me tea but he just sits there, staring at me. I'm not impressed.
Fifty, "WHERE IS MY TEA?"
(I can only shout while typing at the moment.)
Nothing.
Maybe I'll call Ruby.
Ruby looks like he could make a nice cup of tea.
icky bisou
Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI wish you all the best...and send you a lot of strength so that you feel better as soon as possible!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are not feeling well. Hope you are feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteWhiskey and Ice Cream....
ReplyDeleteGoes down nicely, kills all known germs, cures everything from Tonsillitis to Broken Legs and tastes nice too!
All the best
Keith
I hope you feel better very soon! And that you get some tea :)
ReplyDeleteYour dog is so adorable, by the way!
Dear Sar,
ReplyDeleteI was sick two weeks ago... and also my little Strike has no make me a cup of tea!
I hope you feel better soon!
Take care of yourself.
Bisou, Babi
Please get better soon

Oh you poor possum! Tonsillitis is not fun. I had to get my tonsils out as an adult and I don't recommend it so I really hope the drugs work. Even if Fifty doesn't!! Take care x
ReplyDeleteYou need to train Fifty to be more like Harvey: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EmzgkMsf_GQ Although I like this commercial it also makes me sad... Sniff, sniff... I hope you'll get better soon!
ReplyDeletexox
I think you need to work harder at training Fifty - what kind of dog is he if he can't even make a cup of tea!
ReplyDeleteWhisky is probably a better option anyway - I'm sure he could at least manage to pour you a whisky.
haha Although Fifty can't make tea for you, he is still cute and has an innocent face :P Anyway I hope you will feel better soon (*^-^*) Take care Sara!!!xoxo
ReplyDeleteOuchy. Feel better soon. Silly dog. Bet he could bring you a bone though. Did you ask for that?
ReplyDeletexo Jane
That lazy Fifty! Follow Keith's advice as it can't hurt and you may invent a new milkshake flavor!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon, mon amie!
Bises,
Genie
Hot tea with lemon and bourbon - works every time. You may not BE better, but you will FEEL better. Hope it goes away soon.
ReplyDeleteThere is some kind of crud going around. It's so nice out, maybe you could sit out in the sun.
ReplyDeleteGet well soon :)
And I thought you were feeling better. Sigh.
ReplyDeleteDid you get about 100 prescriptions?
Get well soon.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, Ruby rules! I hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeletesorry to read you're ill. i'm battling fall allergies. the worst ever. dommage! i look like death warmed over. i'm not jolie when i'm sick. i had my tonsils removed in '95. i hope the drugs work for you. take care and feel better soon. adieu mon icky amie!
ReplyDeleteI bet Ruby would even put honey and lemon in it. ;) Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteHi Sara, great blog you have here. Sorry to hear you aren't feeling well and that FIfty isn't pulling his weight. You need to send him to St Bernard school in the Alpes so he can pick up one of those little kegs for his collar. You'll still have to make the tea yourself, but at least he can lace it for you.
ReplyDeleteTake care, get well!
I know! I tell our kitties all the time to start doing something to earn their keep, like those cats we see on tv! Worthless, I tell you! XX!
ReplyDeleteI did not know it was possible to get tonsillitis while in France. This does not seem to match the image of perfection I have in my head.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon.
Tu sais, les chiens, ils savent tout faire mais ils ne le disent pas.
ReplyDeleteJe vois dans le regard du tiens qu'il peut te faire une tasse de thé si tu lui demandes. Alors, vas-y.
Bonne soirée et soigne toi bien
Roger
Get better soon! :)
ReplyDeleteFrench doctors specialize in giving out prescriptions. The more the better. Enjoy them, stock up, but don't let them kill you! Take care of yourself. I'm going with Keith's idea!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog. I can't believe we were both in Dublin at the same time. I'm super jealous that you're in France now! I wonder if I could convince my husband to move . . . hmmm. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteUGHHHHHHH i know the pains of tonsilitis well. i used to be plagued with it all throughout junior high and high school. the burning hot pokers in the throat, tonsils swollen every morning so you can barely even swallow... i do NOT envy you.
ReplyDeletejust have tea, jello, and mashed potatoes. <3
Oh no bueno!! Very icky indeed! Hope someone, or dog, gets you something to soothe your throat and tonsils soon! Get better soon Hun!
ReplyDeleteFeel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI hope you feel better soon. Although a snuggle with Ruby looks like it could heal all that ails you! What a love!
ReplyDeleteSo I guess asking the dog to make sure there's plenty of whiskey in the tea is out of the question. Feel better soon, Sara!
ReplyDeleteOh, get well soon. Lots of water and more Sex & the City reruns, to make time fly.....
ReplyDeleteBut pls take care of those tonsils. I had mine taken out and its really the worse pain of all:-(
Ruby is adorable!!!!
Poor you! I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteGet better soon missy! And find yo-self a pup that can at least make u lunch. Is that too much to ask of a dog, really!?
ReplyDeleteAh, that's no fun. In really hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeletePS - Ruby's ADORABLE!
I hope you feel better soon, tonsillitis is nasty! Poor thing! xoxo
ReplyDeleteHope you are feeling better.
ReplyDeleteAbout Dallas. Yes,sure the French theme song was really a mess. I hated the Dahhhhhhhhhhlasssssssssss! But you should have heard the drunk Sue Ellen speak French!
I am LOVING the concept of your blog and can't wait to read more.
ReplyDeletexo M
Oh dear, I'm sorry to hear that! Are you feeling better yet?
