Let Them Drink Rosé (and Pastis)

some guy named Monet painted this

Today we celebrate La Fête Nationale.

221 years ago (2010 - 1789 = 221, right?), the Bastille was stormed and some heads rolled (literally).

In honor of the revolution, the guillotine, and all that storming, I will be doing my own storming...

right into The Honey's pool.

  10. Happy Bastille Day!! Hope the celebrations are awesome, filled with good food and drink (it's France, so, I think you're good there), and many good friends and loved ones. Have a pastis, or rose I'm not picky, for me s'il te plait! (oh btw, wig pics on my blog- it's pretty funny so make sure not to miss it when you are done celebrating ;-))

  11. Oh, so that's why I kept thinking today was something I should remember...but I couldn't think of what it was. Best to celebrate it in a pool, I agree. I mean, if you're gonna lose your head, best to do it with wine while floating in a pool.
